Drop text

While on the bus I was thinking of Michaela's grad show piece, the incredibly brightly illustrated 'hype' was inspired to do this little diddy and play around with drop text. I wish masking fluid was more malleable, but in the end I sort of like the rough edges.  

I used a little gouache to help these ones, but their crudeness prevailed (as did mine) as the night went on. It's surprising what seems clever and funny in the late hours of the evening, which really isn't the next day.
